Cough & cold treatment
Colds and influenza are major causes of illness and loss of productivity both within the United States, and throughout the world at large. Influenza is a disease that is generally regarded as insignificant by people. In fact, influenza is a highly infectious viral illness, which produce a set of recognizable and common symptoms--fatigue, fever, running with tears, nasal congestion, headaches, dryness of throat, or sore throat. Influenza (cold) is an acute infectious disease generally accompanied by a fever, stuff nose, headache, dry or sore throat. Many virus may cause influenza. Influenza virus are tiny, and can easily pass through the filter in the nasal passage into the inside of the body. The filter in the nasal passage can only catch virus of bigger size. Rapid multiplication of virus attacks nose and throat, causing influenza symptoms, and a complication such as pneumonia and bronchitis. Improper treatment of influenza may cause the patient to die. A large number of viruses can cause influenza. Influenza virus is extremely small in size and can enter the human body through the filter of nasal passages. The influenza viruses are classified into three types, A, B, and C, on the basis of the differences in serotypes of the nucleoprotein (NP) and the membrane protein M2. The influenza virus is highly infectious, and therefore, when a new subtype of the virus is generated, the prevailing scale thereof is enlarged beyond comparison with the infection of those suffering from the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
